Concussion Awareness

A Short Course That Benefits Everyone

Good training helps us all play our part in making rugby as safe and enjoyable as possible for everyone involved.

We would particularly encourage all Club First Aiders and parents within the Mini & Youth section to visit the RFU website and complete the appropriate online concussion awareness course.

There are separate courses designed for parents, coaches and players, each taking approximately 30 minutes to complete. They provide straightforward guidance on recognising the signs and symptoms of concussion, understanding what action should be taken and how a suspected concussion should be managed.

Concussion awareness is relevant to everyone involved in rugby. A small investment of time can make a real difference in ensuring that we recognise the signs and respond appropriately when it matters.
