Wimborne RFC 75th Anniversary
What you've all been waiting for ... Here is a look at what's going to be on offer at the Wimborne RFC 75th Anniversary event at Leigh Park on
Saturday, 6th June, from 1pm until 11pm
We have rugby “join in” sessions for all ages, so everyone can have a little run around, starting from 1pm.
There will be town fair entertainment for all the family, open all day. including:
- a tombola
- coconut rugby shy
- human fruit machine
- a bouncy assault course for the kids
There will also be an open tug of war competition — register a team on the day.
Enjoy live music from Roaming Mariachi Band Beato Burrito, DJ ADO, and The Kingsmen
Food will be served all day by Scout and Hunter, with plenty of options available to purchase throughout the day.
The upstairs bar will be open until 5pm, and the marquee bar will be open all day.
The rugby “join in” sessions are free for everyone, so come on down and have a go at some walking touch, or let the kids get stuck into some kids’ touch or Rugby Tots activities.
Ticket holders (and accompanying children) can enjoy the bouncy assault course, coconut shy, human fruit machine, and tug of war competition for free.
From 5pm, entry to the marquee to purchase drinks and enjoy the live music will require a ticket. Children accompanied by ticket holders can enter free of charge.
Tickets are £20. (U18s are free). Every ticket purchased supports the club and enables us to come together as a community and enjoy the day as one club.
