Dear Members
As the 2019/2020 season has now officially ended, I would like to take this opportunity to announce my stepping down from the Role of Chairman with immediate effect.
I would like to both thank our sponsors and further the army of volunteers who constantly go above and beyond to make Wimborne RFC the great family club that it is today.
I think, with the prolonged delay in holding our AGM, it is very important that an incoming Chairman has the opportunity to shape the direction of the club prior to the start of the Season, hence my decision to step down now.
On a personal note, I would like to thank you all for both the Honour to Chair a club I have been associated with for so many years and above all what an absolute fantastic experience it was.
I look forward to going back to being a supporter and further as I work my way out of some current initiatives I look forward to handing over the reigns of this great club.
I sincerely hope that I have left the shirt in a better place, as they say, and I look forward to catching up with you all in more casual surroundings next year.
