Within Government rules and guidance the RFU has issued further advice to Rugby Clubs on how a limited range of Rugby Activities can restart in controlled conditions.

In line with this Wimborne Rugby Club are allowing some activity to take place. Before doing so we conducted careful risk assessments and developed appropriate protocols.

These activities are being pre-arranged for specific groups who are inviting their members.  Those individuals wishing to take part have to pre-book their place so that group sizes, separation of groups, social distancing arrangements etc can be pre-planned and shared before the session.
It will not at this stage be possible to allow players to join in on an ad hoc basis.

Club Coaching Coordinator, Nick Elbourne, has been asked by the Management Committe to take an overview of any planned activities wherever they are to be held.
Those leading groups are asked to discuss their plans with him before confirming them.
Nick will also be happy to answer questions and address any concerns that arise.

We have developed a separate COVID page on this website where we have posted the RFU guidance plus our own Risk Assessment and protocols and will be updating these as anything changes.

The Clubhouse remains closed except for specific events authorised by the Clubhouse Manager on behalf of the Management Committee until they decide it is safe to reopen it more generally.
