On Thursday 9th January 2025, we said farewell to our friend Sue Bird, 'Birdie'.
It was with great sadness that we learnt of Sue's sudden passing in December.
Sue has been a long serving member, supporter, VP and friend of Wimborne Rugby Club, taking on many roles over the years, and working tirelessly behind the scenes.
She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered for her friendship and her great sense of fun.
Our condolences to Lloyd, Richard and all of Sue's family and friends at this sad time.
Sue's funeral was held at Long Barrow Ceremony Hall, Harbour View Crematorium, Funeral Home and Woodland Burial Ground Randalls Hill, Lytchett Minster, BH16 6AN on January 9th 2025 at 12.30pm, and afterwards at Wimborne Rugby Club to celebrate her life and raise a glass or two in her honour.
